Dallas DWI/DUI Lawyer | Chad A. West, PLLC
Texas law states that a person commits an Intoxication Manslaughter offense if they operate a motor vehicle in a public place while intoxicated and by reason of that intoxication causes the death of another by accident or mistake. DWI Manslaughter is a second-degree felony and if you are charged with Assault, Manslaughter, or a subsequent DWI, you are required by law to install an ignition interlock device on your car. You will not allowed to drive any vehicle that is not equipped with an interlock device.
DWI Manslaughter has serious implications involving fines, court costs, probation fees, alcohol and drug testing, where you work and where you live. Dallas DWI Attorney Chad West will fight on your behalf to avoid conviction of Intoxication Manslaughter charges in North Texas.
